Senior Dallyssa Huggins of Bill Crothers Secondary School in Ontario, Canada placed second in the girls heptathlon by a 4,898 to 4,897 margin behind Caice Lanovaz of Los Gatos. Huggins, the New Balance National Outdoor heptathlon and New Balance National Indoor pentathlon champion, ran 2:16.44 on the 800, but Lanovaz was able to hold on for the victory after clocking 2:23.06.
